One big benefit from all this - with the interrupted OTA broadcasts, the annoying commercials have lost a lot of their punch by having the picture fracture or the audio interrupted.

Just what we need. Since the digital switch was government mandated and the switch seems to have caused interruption of the ads, the companies will want refunds for the fees they paid to air their commercials. So now, TV networks, and stations across the country will want bailout money. What a great country we live in.

At least we can be sure of one thing: It'll be fixed before the next round of politician election commercials.
